Las instrucciones no han sido trducidas a su lengua.
The ActiveSync protocol does not enable access to the contacts which are already in the phone. So the following guideline cannot be used for exporting contacts from the phone. For exporting contacts from your device, please use another screenshot guide
  1. Before you start setting up your phone, make sure that you have already registered on the website www.phonecopy.com. Into the phone you will enter the same user name and password that you used during registration.
  2. From main menu of the phone choose People and press Set up account and Outlook.
  3. Configure given fields:
    Email address
    your username@www.phonecopy.com
    Password
    your password
  4. Click sign in. Phone should download all settings and begin to sync automatically. If it does not so, continue with following steps.
  5. Configure a new field:
    User name
    your username
  6. Click sign in and in the following dialog choose advanced and click show all settings
  7. Configure new fields:
    Domain
    phonecopy
    Server
    www.phonecopy.com
    Account name
    PhoneCopy
    Download new content
    Leave as items arrive
    Content to sync
Select Contacts and Calendar, uncheck Email.
  8. Click sign in.

Now the contacts should automatically synced to the phone. You can see synchronized contacts on the www.phonecopy.com.

In case of any problem you can check the configuration settings: from main menu choose Settings, email & accounts and PhoneCopy.

    • Windows Phone has limited data model for storing phone numbers. Edit the contacts on website and assign them correct types. WP supports one cellphone, two home phones and two work phones. Equipo de apoyo de PhoneCopy, 26/02/14

  • I did it from Nokia E 72 to Samsung Focus Windows 7 phone. It worked excellently, except for:
    1. The e mail address in Nokia didnot get transferred to Samsung- I would like some advise as to how it should be done
    2. In Nokia, there is a provision to edit the label( for example, instead of " Mobile( Home)" you can change to " Mobile(XYZ)". These numbers are not getting transferred to Samsung- any suggestions?
    srisugramgay, 24/11/13
    • Hello, Windows Phone devices have quite limited data model to work with. They support two home phone numbers, two work numbers, 1 cellphone, 1 fax. For emails, it is one email address for each of following types: home, work, other. All other details cannot be transferred.
To be able to sync your email addresses, ensure you assigned one of the types mentioned above.

  • I have sync my Old Nokia E52 contacts to Phonecopy - but cant see my contacts at phone copy.I have followed "how to sync 920 with phone copy" down to line no 4 but no contacts came to my phone. I cant tell if the 920 outlook 365 setup was sucessfull with a gmail account or not or if that was the right account to do it with - my normal email address disnt seem to work as Outlook is still empty. I have tried from the 920 to proceed with no 5 but cant find "advanced" fyi my outlook on my pc network is via exchange and i cant tell if if this is now linked to my 920 or not. This is my first couple of days with a smart phone so not too sure of things on this new phone. nicktight, 16/06/13
    • You forgot to associate Nokia E52 to your www.phonecopy.com profile. I made it for you and now it will work without any limits. Equipo de apoyo de PhoneCopy, 17/06/13
  • While the above steps relate to syncing of contacts FROM PhoneCopy to Nokia Lumia 920, how will contacts from a Nokia Lumia 920 be synced to PhoneCopy? kartikeyasingh, 19/02/13
    • Hi to connect Lumia to PhoneCopy we are using native Microsoft protocols which allows initial synchronization only from server to device. We are planning to launch another solution later as well. Equipo de apoyo de PhoneCopy, 23/02/13
