      • Hello, if your Lotus Notes software synchronizes calendar events into local iPhone calendar, PCalendars application will be able to synchronize it towards phonecopy.com server and to your other devices.           • Maybe, Lotus Notes have their completely own calendar system. PCalendars supports only local calendars now. You need to create them (in default Calendar iPhone app). Let us know. Phonecopy support team, 13/04/12

              • PCalendars application supports synchronizing of local calendars only (stored on the iPhone / iPad).
                iCloud calendars (remotely stored on the Apple servers) and other subscribed calendars like MS Exchnage etc. will be supported in the future (not supported yet).
                
                You need to create local calendar.
                Try to run default Calendar app and click top-left button "Calendars" and then click "Edit" button to add local calendars.
                Unfortunately, if you have some iCloud calendars already, you are not able to create any local calendar in default Calendar app from Apple. Sad.
                
                You can disable iCloud calendars in the iPhone settings - "Mail, Contact, Calendars…", then make calendar sync from PhoneCopy server with PCalendars app and then you can enable iCloud calendars again, if you want.
                
                We will find workaround for this in the next version of PCalendars app.
                
                Also - make sure you have enabled PCalendars application in Privacy settings (go to iPhone settings and then "Privacy" and then "Calendars").

                • Well thanks for ll the replies - I feel a little upset as I paid a donation to get the premium version hoping that would allow me to sync calendars - really I got an app that virtually does nothing. If I wanted to sync contacts I could do that brought the cloud or using contctmover which works perfect with exchange and costs 2.99 dlsdln28, 13/04/12

  • Nokia phone stopped communicating during the synchronization. It is quite hard to find why. Try to sync only contacts at first, usually it helps. (and than do not forget to associate your phone to you web profile). Phonecopy support team, 13/02/12

• on my iPad 2 just upgraded to newest iOS downloaded latest phone copy version and still can't see program in PRIVACY settings... therefore sync is not possible...

  • Yes, you can select synchronization direction SERVER -> DEVICE (from the server to the iPad). Synchroninzation direction selection is under "Account settings" button on your iPad. If you deleted all your contacts accidentally, go to "Deleted contacts" in the contacts section on the www.phonecopy.com web site. Feel free to contact us again. Phonecopy support team, 12/10/05

• Synced 140 contacts from Nokia E5-00 to server. These contacts were in (default) group. Added 2 extra groups, switched 25% of these contacts to new group. Wanted to add new group to Nokia E5-00 in device settings. How does this work? When I click the line or check box of the group nothings seems to happen.   • Yes, for Samsung Infuse you need PhoneCopy for Android application from market: https://www.phonecopy.com/en/pages/how_to_backup_contacts_from_android
    Then if you will have contacts on PhoneCopy.com you need to download PhoneCopy for iPhone form App Store and log in as "Existing user" with your cretentials you used for Samsung and then select "From Server to Device" direction to get contacts from PhoneCopy.com to you iPad. • Hi, I used to sync my contacts with iPad and Andorid phone. Later I got many contacts duplicated and fixed with Find Duplicates feature - it synced very well with Android phone, but when I synced with iPad, all contacts got corrupted. • Hello! Everything works great and I love the service. My iPad 2 contact app (iOS ver 4.3.5) just crashed and wiped all of my contacts. They're all gone! So, how do I use the PhoneCopy app to restore my contacts? When I loaded the app, it detected that each of my contacts was deleted, and I am worried that if I synchronize, it will dutifully blast away my contacts on the server, rather than restore my contacts.   • Hi, we recommend you to start application, then press Account settings button and login as existing user. When you will be asked for synchronization direction select "Server > This device" which will transfer all contacts from PhoneCopy server to your iPad.
    And what's more important when you even accidentally delete any contacts from server you will find it under "Deleted Contacts" button and you can restore it back. Phonecopy support team, 11/07/27
    • Hello! Wow, thanks for the fast response and the terrific advice. I was able to re-login and made the selection to transfer the contacts from the server to the iPad. It begins the transfer and then crashes, so I'm not quite sure what's going on (the app sent in the crash data back to you folks). I shut down the app and tried again with the same results. I will keep poking around a bit, continue powering down and back on the iPad, and that kind of stuff. I'm not out of the woods yet but I don't feel like I'm alone out here, thanks to your prompt support. Cheers! impoid, 11/07/27
      • Hi it looks some problem with your addressbook at all asi you wrote in your first post it crashed wiping all your contacts. I recommend you to switch off and on you iPad (not only sleep mode but full switch off). Then you try it again. I hope it will work. Phonecopy support team, 11/07/27
        • Hello again! I had done that once already (the full power down, not just the screen lock thing). When I stopped all of the background apps and did a full power cycle a second time, it worked -- hooray!!   • Your problem could be cased by having multiple "profiles". Profiles enables to sort out which items (e.g. contacts) are transmitted to specific devices.     • I also can not sync on the iPad 2. When opening the app it states I have 139,... contacts. I will add the app to my iPhone 4 also and see if the problem continues. When I try to open my contacts on my iPad I can only see the book graphic and no contact information shows. I will also call Apple about this.
