Samsung Ativ Smart PC is supported on PhoneCopy. Please note that following settings may vary a little depending on the firmware version.

Text guideline - How to backup

With Samsung Ativ Smart PC

  1. Install the "PhoneCopy" application from the "Productivity" section on the "Windows Store" .
  2. In main menu press PhoneCopy.
  3. Do you have an account on the www.phoneCopy.com?
    ▼ hide "create new account"
    • Choose Create new account and fill in the following fields. If you already made your registration on pages www.phonecopy.com, please go to indent "use existing account".
      Username
      your_username
      Password
      your_password
      Repeat password
      retype your password once again
      Email
      fill in your email so we can contact you in case you will lost password.
      Timezone
      select your timezone - important for calendar on the web
      Captcha
      retype the code to prove that you are human
    • Press Sign up
    ▼ hide "use existing account"
    • Choose Use existing account and fill in the following fields.
      Username
      your_username
      Password
      your_password
      Contacts folder
      select where the synchronized contacts will be located
    • Press OK.
  4. Press synchronize. You can see your synchronized contacts on www.phonecopy.com.

  • I have installed the Windows software and tried to log as a premium user but couldn't. I have chosen the automatic synchronization option and now I cannot use the program. Everytime I try to open it it just automaticly synchronizes and I cannot change any option. I am not an everyday Windows user (using bootcamp on Mac) so I don't know how to find and delete the config file. Uninstalling doesn't help. And the Mac software doesn't give the chance to synchronize sms. 2 wasted days for 25EUR... ditc, 09/02/2016
    • OK. right now I have another problem - when I try to synchronize I get the message "Encrypted iTunes backups are not supported" ditc, 09/02/2016
      • Hi, for security restrictions we cannot access encrypted iTunes backup. You have to switch off encryption in your iTunes backup. Then our application will be able to access content and you will get your SMS. PhoneCopy support team, 09/02/2016
