Supported devices - Android 15

Android 15, also known as “Vanilla Ice Cream”, brings a number of improvements that enhance the user experience and performance.

One of the key features is better multitasking support, where users can save combinations of apps in split-screen mode and quickly switch between them. Improved support for switching between screens on foldable phones.

Improved battery management optimizes power usage for apps running in the background and includes a new efficient performance mode for tasks that run in the background for a long time. Doze mode now allows you to switch to sleep mode faster, which can extend battery life by several hours.

Among the novelties of the cameras are more detailed controls, such as the ability to adjust the intensity of the flash or improved control of the HDR mode, which improves the quality of photos taken in low light conditions. HDR support is now wider with the ability to fine-tune the balance between HDR and SDR content. The newly added image processing options thus support better control over the resulting images.

The new volume control API ensures a consistent sound level across different applications and media, making the multimedia experience easier for users.

It also includes a Private Space feature that provides a safe space for sensitive apps and data. The Theft Detection Lock function allows you to lock the device in case of suspected theft, which significantly increases the user's protection.
