  1. Press Menu and choose Settings - Configuration - Personal config. sett..
  2. Press Options and choose Add new - Synchronization and configure given fields.

    • Account name: Write PhoneCopy
    • Server address: Write http://www.phonecopy.com/sync
    • User name: your_username
    • Password: your_password
    • Contacts database:
      Database address
      Write contacts
      User name
      Leave empty.
      Password
      Leave empty.
    • Calendar database:
      Database address
      Write calendar
      User name
      Leave empty.
      Password
      Leave empty.
    • Notes database:
      Database address
      Write notes
      User name
      Leave empty.
      Password
      Leave empty.
    • Use pref. access pt.: If you want to use your preferred access point to connect to PhoneCopy, choose Yes, otherwise choose No and set up the access point in the next menu item Access point settings.
  3. Press Back, go to the name of the profile you have just created, press Options and choose Activate.
  4. Press Back twice.
  5. Choose Connectivity - Data transfer and go to Server sync but do not enter this item.
  6. Press Options - Edit - Sync settings and configure given fields.

    • Configuration: Choose Personal config. - Select.
    • Account: Choose Phonecopy - Select.
    • User name: Fill in your user name.
    • Password: Fill in your password.
  7. Press Back and choose Synchronized data.
  8. Mark the items you want to synchronize and press Done (or Back if you made no changes).
  9. If the cell phone asks you Save changes?, choose Yes.
  10. Press Done (or Back).
  11. Choose Server sync. Now you can start synchronizing with PhoneCopy.

    I'm trying to sync my contacts from an iPhone 6S to a Vertu Signature. I managed to sync all my contacts from iCloud to PhoneCopy server but could not sync from this server to my Vertu. The following message kept coming up "Data transfer not possible. Check data connection". Please be kindly noted that I could still browse the Internet using either Wifi or 3G connection. Your prompt support would be much appreciated.

    • Hi, can you please check which kind of internet connection you are using in your Vertu? Some operators can block PhoneCopy when you are using WAP connection. We recommend internet connection called Internet, GPRS or similar. PhoneCopy support team, 29/08/16
      • Thank you for your answer. I tried both gprs and wifi bothnof which worked fine as I could browse to different webpages. However the same error message keep coming up "Data transfer not possible. Check data connection". Can you please kindly advise me what to do? Cheers trungdoan, 02/12/16
        • Hi, under GPRS there still can be hidden WAP Access Point. Please check Access Point (also called APN) to avid WAP connection. PhoneCopy support team, 03/12/16
