The SMS backup is the key feature for a lot of mobile users because short messages include important data, which should be always available and searchable. PhoneCopy offers SMS backup as a standard feature, same as contacts, calendars events, tasks and notes backup, for mobile phones that support it. SMS backup is available for example on new Nokia phones with Symbian system as Nseries and Eseries, e.g. N97 and E72, as well as Nokia 5800 ExpressMusic or Nokia 9500.

  • I need to know how to back my sms or texts from my iPhone 6s plus to my Mac, please, phone copy was supposed to copy and save them, but I do not see them here.

      Yes you can print your contacts. Log in to your on-line profile, go to Contacts page and there is More Actions button under which you will find Export to CSV. CSV is file which can be used in the Microsoft Excel and you can print all contacts as a table.       PhoneCopy support team, 26/05/2017

    I have Lumia 830 and I want to copy all my SMS (text message) and contacts from Lumia to new Iphone 6s. Is possible?

    • Hi, it depends of firmware version. Please check our step by step guide with your phone menu if there is option to fill SMS synchronization.     • Sorry, but in some firmwares of N8-00 there is not included SMS synchronization. This is a problem of Symbian version . . if you don't see SMS or Messages as one category which you can configure you will not by able to make backup of it. PhoneCopy support team, 06/01/2015

      • Why is iPhone advertised on the Premium service for transferring SMS? Is that in the event that Apple changes their policy for accessing SMS some day. Somewhat misleading when I was about to purchase the premium account until I researched a little further.

        • Hi, because Apple doesn't allow to access SMS from application we have to develop PC software which is able to get SMS indirectly from iTunes backup. Also Apple regularly change the format of iTunes backup file which is reason we have to improve it often. This was reason why we want to cover that feature from Premium subscription.     • Hi, Nokia doesn't allow to upload SMS back to phone. When you add any new contacts using "add to phonecopy" it will be stored into your phone and on next synchronization to PhoneCopy.com as well. PhoneCopy support team, 24/07/2013
