Android 16, internally known as “Baklava”, brings several significant new features that improve privacy, performance and the overall user experience.

The new version of Android increases user protection with the Advanced Protection system, which better protects against malicious applications, unauthorized data transfers and unsecured networks.

The traditional Google Assistant is replaced by Gemini artificial intelligence. It is deeply integrated into the system and can, for example, summarize messages, answer questions or suggest actions in real time.

The new Material 3 Expressive design style brings animations and visual effects inspired by modern trends. Notifications are more interactive thanks to the Live Updates function.

The system now supports foldable and flexible devices. Applications automatically adapt to different modes and screen sizes.

Another new feature is the ability to share audio from one device with multiple friends at once, which improves listening to music or watching content together.
