Hi, I think I have sucessful sync with PhoneCopy already, but after that my phone show "your phone contacts has been synchronized with your phonecopy" and "hint:do not forget to correctly setup visiblility of your contacts in your contacts application". The problem is in the homepage of website phonecopy.com show "contacts:138 created" but when I click into it "all contacts" it is all empty inside, is it any step I haven't done yet or it couse of other problem? appreciate for your answer, thanks. bigworld, 14.06.13

Hello,
Your sync was successful, but the problem is, that you probably used an "account to sync" which does not provide us full informations about your contacts.
Please try another "account to sync" for synchronize of your contacts.
If you don't know which "account to sync" to use, you can try an app PhoneCopyDebug.
This app shows grouped contacts by their accounts.
If you want to use PhoneCopyDebug please follow these steps:
1. Download and install the PhoneCopyDebug app from http://www.phonecopy.com/android/download/PhoneCopyDebug.apk
2. Start the app and find where are contacts you want to sync (account name is the big bold title).
3. If you still don't know which account to use, please send us list of all account names you found in "Account to sync" dropdown list in PhoneCopy app and all account names you found in PhoneCopyDebug (either here into the discussion or by email to support@phonecopy.com).
Please give us your feedback if these informations were useful.

HI everyone. I syncronized all my contacts from my old samsung galaxy ace thanks to your GREAT app. Now I have to move them to my new iphone 4S. How can I do that?
Why weren't the sms copied too? Is there a way to do that?
Chhers-
Hi. You need to download PhoneCopy App to your iPhone and log in as existing user. Then press Synchronize button and your contacts will be transferred. Support for SMS on android will be launched soon but iPhone doesn't have API interface and no any application can access it anyway.

Any deleted contacts can be found in Deleted Contacts folder of your PhoneCopy.com profile. You can restore it to current list and on next sync you will get it back to your phone.

I would like to transfer the contacts (People) from the SIM card in my HTC Desire S to the SIM card in my new Samsung, but am falling over on step 1! When I try to synchronise my HTC and it asks me what account I want to sync, it says that there are 0 contacts in People. (I have the free version of the app.) Any ideas?

Hi, I want to sync my contacts from my older non android phone on my recent android phones. I can get the contacts from older phones to phonecopy easily, however I DO NOT want it to mix these contacts with my gmail contacts. I do not want to have anything to do with gmail contacts in my phonebook as they are messy and not phone numbers but all sorts of email etc. How can I used phonecopy to sync only my phonebook contacts (and not google contacts) across android devices.
-
All i want to know is once i have synchronized the data on my phone, can i delete the app?

-
Donwload PhoneCopy.apk then log in as existing user and synchronize.

When I Synchronize from my Samsung S3 - PhoneCopy application asks me for an android account to synch with (gmail, facebook, samsung, etc.) but never enables me to synchronize with the device contacts!
In other words I want to copy my contacts from your server to my phone itself not to other android accounts-
Hello,
Gmail, Facebook and others are registered in your device as contact accounts. However it seems that the “device contacts” storage is not registered in your device.
For this case we have created an app, which shows contacts with their accounts. With this tool you can find the name of the account representing your “device contacts” storage.
Please follow these steps:
1. Create a contact in the “device contacts” storage and name it, for instance “!TestContact”.
2. Download and install the PhoneCopyDebug app from http://www.phonecopy.com/android/download/PhoneCopyDebug.apk
3. Start the app and find where the created contact is stored (It is the big bold title).
4. Send us the account name you found (either here into the discussion or by email to support@phonecopy.com).
When we will know the account of your “device contacts” storage, we can help you.

Hello,
the list box "Android account to sync:" does not contain any value because you have no account with contacts on your phone. To synchronize with PhoneCopy app, you need an account with contacts.

Never mind, found similar by clicking the "show" button. Maybe the FAQ could include this?

Need to ignore Contacts Without Phone Numbers. Google sync on android includes all contacts, including gmail contacts. Default gmail adds a contact entry for anyone you email (unless you turn this off in gmail). So for most users, there will be 100+ email only contacts which makes a mess of the phonecopy list.

how to backup my sms from android mobile to my pc
-
Sorry, we are preparing such as solution but currently we support only contact synchronization.
-
I'd also be interested to hear once you have a solution in place for the copying of ALL contacts on Android. Ideally, it's best if Phonecopy only copies those contacts that have a telephone number
-
You can synchronize all the contacts from Android when you will select different databases which contain your contacts in android. Then you can filter contacts with numbers to manage it separately from all other contacts.

I have an iphone4s. I am planning to move all the contacts on my 4s to a Nexus4. I haven't gotten a Nexus 4 yet, are there any precautions i need to take? Will it be good if i just sync contacts from my iphone using this app?
-
You can do it now but you can do it later as well. PhoneCopy for iPhone will store your contacts to PhoneCopy.com then you can manage it edit details etc. and when you will get Nexus you will use PhoneCopy for android to get contacts to new phone

Hi, use PhoneCopy for Android and log in as existing user.
-
Hi,
I am in my account, i can make synchronization from device to account, but i cannot make synchrionization from account to device.-
Our logs shows that contacts have been downloaded into the default contact provider in your device.
Try to check your contact app in the phone settings for providers it displays. Otherwise you can select different contact provider for sync in the PhoneCopy application settings.
