I'm trying to transfer contacts and calendar onto my pc. I've managed this in the past when a previous laptop has Windows 7 installed but my new laptop has Windows 10 and many tasks cannot be accomplished with this.
The message I get is "the organiser applications on your computer aren't supported".
Is there a way of doing this as my BB 9000 isn't going to last long with probable screen failure (screen goes white then eventually goes normal). Thanks-
Hi, PhoneCopy.com doesn't support old blackberry directly but still there is a guide which can help you to get data from your phone https://www.phonecopy.com/en/pages/how_to_backup_contacts_from_blackberry_curve . When you will succeed we can help you to import it to Windows 10.
-
-
These are so wrong! Blackberry Keyone is running on Android Nougat and the instructions here are for BlackBerry OS 10, which is obsolete and will no longer be continued on any future BB devices.
-
Sorry, we just corrected it https://www.phonecopy.com/en/phones/view/blackberry_keyone
-
And that was a swift response! Well done.

Thank you!

Hi,
I backed up my contacts with BlackBerry desktop software. After I've installed phone copy for windows and failed to transfer the contacts to phone copy server. I need to repeat the upload but the program won't let me. What shall I do?-
Hi, that exactly you mean by "failed to transfer"? Did you exported contacts from BlackBerry in .VCF format? Did you copy these contacts to "Contacts" folder of your Windows PC? We can se 1 successfully synchronized contacts during first synchronization. This means something has to change before you started to synchronize contacts exported from Blackberry.
-
-
I backed my contacts up to my computer (BlackBerry Link) and traded my phone in but now I cannot get them to transfer from my computer onto my new Samsung. Is it possible to do that using phonecopy?
-
Hi, it depends which format you used to store your contacts from Blackberry. Our recommended way is to export it from BlackBerry to vCards: https://www.phonecopy.com/en/pages/how_to_backup_contacts_from_blackberry_curve
Then you will be able to synchronize vCards to PhoneCopy.com using PhoneCopy for Windows and when your contacts will be on PhoneCopy.com it is easy to transfer it to any device.

team support i have installed phonecopy today was trying to learn more from it unfortunately i deleted contacts from the server permanently because of some changes of conatacts now am trying to transfer contacts again but its not showing any contacts on server and i have tried a lot please advice me how do i transfer contacts to phonecopy server
-
Sorry, but permanent delete means PERMAMENT DELETE. For security and privacy reasons we don't keep any copy of contacts which were requested to delete it permanently.
-
Thanks for your reply Ok I understand that but now if I want to transfer freshly it will transfer phone contacts to server?
-
Hi, i recommend you to use Single directional synchronization FROM DEVICE TO SERVER which you can select in the phone application.

What happens after end of free period or we exceed free limit . does my contacts work on phone or deleted
-
Hi, when your end period ends you will not be able to synchronize your phone with PhoneCopy.com. Your account will be blocked but not deleted.

Hi, I have a Blackberry Q10, I synced my contacts but the calendar items are not syncing. Could you tell me what should I do?
Also, I understand that for Blackberry you cannot transfer the Notes. I have them saved into .csv file. Is there any way to sync or import those?
Thanks,-
Hi, when you will follow our guide for Blackberry you will get synchronized both contacts and calendars.
https://www.phonecopy.com/en/pages/how_to_synchronize_contacts_to_blackberry_10-
I did follow these instruction from start, the Calendar slider button in the Account is active. It's blue. Still, there are no calendar items saved into the phonecopy.com account. I do have the tasks inactive because I dont want to transfer any tasks. Is that why it doesnt work?
-
Hi, sorry, it is misunderstanding. The guide which i sent you allow to synchroniza calendar from server to device. Also once you set it it allows to synchronize events back to server. But it doesn't export calendar events FROM device to server. PhoneCopy currently doesn't provide service which allows to export calendar events FROM device TO server because of technical limitations on BlackBerry OS. Sorry
-
Thanks. Is there Any file format that phonecopy.com can import as calendar entries? I NEED my calendar and notes backed up onto phonecopy, so what kind of file format is accepted or allowed to be exported to phonecopy?

-
it only lets me copy blackbery contacts 614 but I actually have 1190 in total, how can I amend this??
-
Hi, we looked you are using Server To Blackberry synchronization only. If you need copy contacts FROM blackberry you need use our application for BlackBerry.
https://www.phonecopy.com/en/pages/how_to_backup_contacts_from_blackberry_10-
thanks, I did that as well and it doesn't work, it won't let me copy all the contacts, please advise
-
it only lets me transfer BLACKBERRY CONTACTS, but not the contacts like local directory, etc
-
Yes, PhoneCopy for BlackBerry lets you synchronize only BLACKBERRY CONTACTS due to limits of BlackBerry and it is mentioned in specification of app.
If your other contacts are in other account, you can simply import them to BLACKBERRY CONTACTS and then perform the sync.
Otherwise, you can use the Activesync with your PhoneCopy account. From our logs we know that you already chosen the use of the ActiveSync.
In case of ActiveSync, import your contacts into already created PhoneCopy account in your BlackBerry device https://www.phonecopy.com/en/pages/how_to_synchronize_contacts_to_blackberry_10
After adding your contacts, they will be synchronized to PhoneCopy.com server automatically.
How to import contacts (for BB OS 10.3.2.2474 and higher):
1) Go to your contacts list in your BlackBerry device
2) Longly click on one contact, options appear
3) Choose Select more (last option)
4) Select all contacts you want to move to ActiveSync account
5) Press Copy to
6) Select the checkbox with your ActiveSync account with name PhoneCopy
7) Press Done -
please, can somebody advise

I transferred my contacts from Blackberry Z10 to Phone Copy. I transferred the contacts from Phone Copy to my iphone5 and lost all contacts that were on iPhone 50 total. The sync was set to transfer and save both ways. Can I retrieve the lost contacts from iPhone?
-
Hello, according to our log, you picked one-way sync from server which deleted all contacts on the phone. You should be able to retrieve the old contacts from iCloud (if you have) or iTunes backup.

I would like to delete my phonecopy account as if I never signed up. How do I do that? I would like to start fresh as my contacts are all duplicated and tripled now and there is so simple way to fix it.

For any cases there is available Duplicates manager which solves duplicates. Also in the account settings there is option to terminate account.

Hello, it is an issue for BlackBerry support. If this issue concerns BlackBerry Desktop Software, I found some solution and it is a downgrade of this software to older version (current version contains a bug). For more information contact your BlackBerry support.

When I open thee Phone Copy app from my phone it still shows that I only have 1 BlackBerry contact
-
Hello,
application PhoneCopy for BlackBerry supports only backup of items from BlackBerry contacts account.
This means that you have only one contact in BlackBerry contacts account.
The remaining contacts are stored in another account(s).
We recommend to import the remaining contacts in to "BlackBerry contacts" account and then backup.
Or you can use the Active sync for automatic two-way sync using our "How to..." manual https://www.phonecopy.com/en/pages/how_to_synchronize_contacts_to_blackberry_10
-
-
sync failed. unknown error, duplicity manager. done, still no sync?
